Declarer play rewards patience and planning. Before touching a single card from dummy, count your winners and losers, picture the layout that gives you trouble, and build a line of play that protects against the bad breaks you can actually do something about.

A solid opening lead sets the tone for the entire defense. Rather than leading on autopilot, we consider the auction, the vulnerability, and the message you want to send, so your first card gives your side the best chance from trick one.

The endgame is where well-played hands are won and lost. Squeezes, endplays, and simple counting of the hand let you extract that one extra trick. This lesson introduces the timing and preparation that make advanced techniques work at the table.
